Imoogi and the Woodcutter

Yeongdo, a destitute woodcutter who lives in solitude, longs for a family. Meanwhile, the Imoogi, who can only transform into a dragon through the death of his companion, exists. Upon hearing a legend that tossing an axe into a mountain pond will cause the mountain spirit to turn it from iron into gold, Yeongdo decides to cast his axe into the pond in preparation for his wedding. However, what surfaces from the pond is an Imoogi, angered by the humans who continuously throw axes at him. The Imoogi, originally set on attacking the humans present, becomes captivated by Yeongdo's scent and develops an obsession with him.
